Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: September 26, 2025

Introduction

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before accessing or using securewp.net (the "Site"). By accessing or using any part of the Site you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the Site or any services offered through it.

The Site is owned and operated by Securewp LLC (referred to in this document as "Securewp", "we", "us" or "Operator"). These Terms, together with any other policies published on the Site including our Privacy Policy, form the agreement governing your access to and use of the Site and any products or services available through it (collectively, the "Agreement").

Use of Service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Securewp grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the services purchased for the website(s) specified in your order. For the purposes of this Agreement, a "Website" means the collection of files and resources served at a given URL.

Securewp reserves the right, but has no obligation, to disclose information you submit or that we discover while performing services if we, in our reasonable judgment, suspect that the covered Website is involved in illegal activity. In such cases we may disclose relevant information to appropriate authorities, such as law enforcement or court officials, as we deem necessary.

Fees and Payment

Payments for services are processed through our third-party payment processor. Payment information you provide is encrypted and submitted directly to the payment processor. For details on how we use third-party providers, see our Privacy Policy.

Payments and Refunds

Once our third-party payment processor confirms a successful payment and fraud check, we will begin delivering the purchased service. We work promptly to provide services, but specific completion times cannot be guaranteed.

Refund policy

We offer refunds within 30 days of service delivery subject to the eligibility conditions below. If you are not satisfied, please submit a refund request so we can review it quickly and professionally.

1. Confirm eligibility
  1. Refunds are considered within the 30-day warranty or satisfaction window and only when the warranty conditions have been followed.
  2. For reinfection claims we will normally attempt remediation under the warranty before approving a refund.
2. How to submit a refund request

Send a message to our support team from your account area or email support@securewp.com with the following information:

  1. Your name and order number, or the email address used for the order
  2. The affected site URL
  3. A clear reason for the refund request and any supporting evidence such as screenshots, error messages, or logs
  4. A brief summary of actions taken so far and whether you followed our recommendations

Review and processing

We will acknowledge receipt of your request and review it within 1–2 business days. If your refund is approved, we will process it promptly. The time for funds to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider and typically ranges from 5 to 10 business days.

Common exclusions

Refunds will not be issued for issues caused by:

  1. Failure to follow the warranty conditions (for example installing nulled or pirated plugins after remediation).
  2. Restoring infected backups or taking actions that reintroduce malware after remediation.
  3. New code, third-party integrations, or services added after our work that introduce issues.
  4. Incidents outside our scope or control, such as third-party API breaches or host-level outages.

If you are unsure whether your situation qualifies for a refund, contact support before taking further actions. We aim to be fair and transparent and will work with you to resolve issues where possible.

Hack Recovery and Service Scope

If you purchase our 'malware removal & recovery' or 'upgrade and security hardening' services, files or software on your site may be modified, removed, added, or updated as part of recovery, repair and security hardening. We take care to minimize downtime and preserve functionality, but some changes may be required to secure the site. If your site is blacklisted, we will submit requests for review to the relevant authorities when appropriate.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitations

Securewp will use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver the services you request. However, except where prohibited by law, all services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Securewp makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

To maintain your service warranty, you must:
  • (A) Follow our remediation and hardening recommendations, and avoid installing pirated or nulled themes and plugins.
  • (B) Keep WordPress core, themes, and plugins updated, and apply critical security patches promptly.
  • (C) Avoid hosting insecure or unmaintained websites on the same hosting account or control panel.
  • (D) Refrain from restoring outdated backups that may contain malware without consulting our team first.
  • (E) Do not disable or remove security controls we have applied (such as WAF rules, .htaccess/Nginx rules, or other protections) without consulting us.
What the warranty includes:
  • (A) Reassessing and cleaning the site without additional cleanup fees.
  • (B) Repairing any remaining backdoors or persistence mechanisms related to the original infection.
  • (C) Verifying the site’s clean state and conducting follow-up checks to confirm stability.

Full details of warranty coverage and exclusions will be outlined in your service agreement and our warranty policy. Please note, we do not guarantee that a website will never be reinfected, that uptime will be continuous, or that every defect caused by an attack can always be corrected in every circumstance.
